Organizations involved with: Challenge is a non-profit organization which was established in 1983 to provide children living with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders with the opportunity to put their illness aside and interact with other children in similar circumstances. The Robert Allenby Golf Day began as an intimate golfing affair and has continued to blossom over the years. Today, the event is one of Australia's most prestigious golfing days on the charity circuit. Robert has the capacity to attract many international and Australian golfers who come to the event in support of Challenge. Since 1992, the Robert Allenby Golf Day has raised in excess of $11 million and Robert has personally donated over $500,000 to this organization.

Career Highlights: Robert Allenby's stellar career began when he joined the PGA Tour of Australasia and found immediate success, winning 2 events that year and topping their Order of Merit as a fresh-faced 19 year-old. He continues to play events and travels to his native Australia each year to support the home tour where has won 12 times, including one as an amateur. Allenby made the transition to the United States and the PGA Tour full-time in 1999. Now living in Jupiter, FL Allenby broke through in 2000 and won 2 events, the Shell Houston Open and the Advil Western Open. He also won 2 events in 2001, the LA Nissan Open and the Marconi Pennsylvania Classic. Both seasons found him finishing 16th on the Money List. His highest finish in a major is tied for 7th, which he achieved at the 2004 U.S. Open and 2008 British Open. Allenby continues to be a force on Tour each week he plays and has continued to be amongst the world’s top ranked players. A Major title continues to consume his focus and goals on Tour.
