Bio: Josh Wise has displayed talent and desire to become the best racecar driver possible. So far, he has dedicated his first 25-years of life in achieving this goal. To get to know Wise on a personal level there is no doubt he combines intelligence, passion for racing, and knowledge of the past while focusing on the future. He is a very humble person, yet he has a demeanor that overflows with confidence. Wise is an all-American success story. He started with modest beginnings and has reached into the pinnacle of racing that few have achieved.

In every success story there is usually a time and place a driver can conclude this was the turning point of their career. For Wise that moment was in 2003 when he won the historic Belleville Midget Nationals. The night Tony Stewart who asked Wise to come back to the Mid West and drive for one of his National USAC teams. "This was the opportunity I had dreamt of my entire life, i just never thought it would really happen," said Wise. "I knew I loved racing and had the right opportunities open up for me. I worked really hard at just being successful with whatever I was doing at the time."

At the time Wise did not have a sprint car ride. Stewart's deal was Midgets only at first. Wise earned USAC National Sprint Car Rookie of the Year. For Stewart, Wise did not disappoint. He scored one win and finished second in points during his first full season. Wise was also able to travel back to the West Coast and run for car owners Mike Sala and Mark Priestley, getting a win at Hanford Speedway on dirt.

In 2005 was a roller coaster of emotions. He won the prestigious USAC Super License Championship, which means he accumulated more points than any other driver in all three divisions. He was crowned the USAC National Midget Champion in only his second year. He scored five wins. He won on a mile track and meshed very well with crew chief John Saynes in the midget. The sprint car season was a different story. It was his first full season driving Stewart's sprint car. He finished fourth in points with nine top fives and 17 top tens. In his first year he won at Terre Haute Speedway, broke three track records and won Rookie of the Year.

Starting off the 2006 season, Wise was involved in a terrible sprint car crash. "That crash really motivated me to try and pursue NASCAR harder," said Wise. What a season it turned out to be. Highlights include winning his second Belleville Nationals. He won both nights of racing including a last lap pass that fans still talk about. He won the Hoosier 100 in the Silver Crown car, on another last lap pass, swept both nights of the Western World Championships at Manzanita Speedway in the sprint car and for the second year in a row won the USAC Super License Championship.

In 2007, Wise moved to Charlotte, NC to begin his NASCAR career. He started by racing with the ARCA RE/MAX SERIES. Highlights were a sixth place finish at Las Vegas and eighth place finish at Gateway International Speedway.

In 2008, Wise posted a 5th place finish at ORP along with 5 other top 15 finishes in only 15 starts. Television commentator Rusty Wallace said on air, "I really like this Josh Wise kid. He is well spoken, a heck of a racecar driver. This kid is a sponsors dream." Dr. Jerry Punch, a co-host with Wallace added, "I am very impressed with Josh Wise. For a small team with limited funding they are holding their own against some of the best teams and drivers in the Nationwide Series."

In 2009, Josh Wise won the USAC National Sprint Car race at Lawrenceburg
