BIO

Name: Josh Nehf

Born: September 25,1989

Nick Names: Cornfed, Corn Smuggler, Corn Federline

Profession: Kiteboarder, Island Stone

Home Town: Santa Cruz

Currently living: In Santa Cruz

Goofy, Regular or neither: Regular

Years Riding: 5 years

Memorable Moment: When I received my first quiver of kites from Peter Schiebel. I was only 13 years old. They were dusty old prototypes from underneath his workbench. We spray painted the Caution flames on them, and I went around telling all my friends I was "sponsored".

Future Goals: My goals are to keep pushing my limits, without injuring myself. Also, to push wave riding into the main stream.

Heaviest Bodily Trauma: I would have to say having three knee surgeries in three years is pretty traumatizing.

Greatest Professional Achievement: Earning my sponsorships and continuing to get my photos in magazines.

Influences: Josh Mulcoy, Bruce Eliashof, Peter Schiebel, Ian Alldredge, Ruben Lenten, and Moe.

Favorite Kaenon Style: Gauge

Thank you's: I would like to thank my Uncle Alex Lackides for being there when I needed him, Peter and Poul Schiebel for supporting me from the beginning, everyone else who gave me endless rides to Waddell (John Cornett, Glen Dewitt, and Jeff Trauba), and Chris Wyman for the sick shades.
