Ryan Zimmerman’s Hitting Streak Ends at 30 Games

BASEBALL
A lot of news in Baseball last week centered around Ryan Zimmerman of the Washington Nationals, and his hitting streak, which came to an abrupt stop last week at 30 games just as the media piled on and the spotlight began to intensify. His Hard Kore’s came in handy on the field, and on occasion when the spotlight got too intense.

From CBS Sports Article“The Nationals’ rising star also got a less tangible prize: A whole new appreciation for the greatness of Joe DiMaggio. ‘It makes you realize how much better 56 is than 30,’ Zimmerman said, referring to the San Francisco native’s record hitting streak in 1941. “That’s a long time. … To get a hit every single game, there’s got to be a little bit of luck involved.”

It’s Hard Kore Open Season for MLB

BASEBALL

Major Leaguers have shown a penchant for Hard Kore on the field, along with sightings of Jetty, Rhino and Beacon. 2009 opened this past weekend, with players, managers and coaches across the league relying on Kaenon’s collection of prescription and non-prescription sunglasses. Rx Freestyle Progressive is the must-have product for American League champion manager Joe Maddon, proud supporter of Kaenon’s Freestyle Progressives. Maddon wears Hard Kore, Burny, Lewi and Basis depending on the need and occasion.

Most managers and coaches have been partial to Hard Kore and our metals – Spindle, Segment and some Variant, with some Lewi and Beacon mixed in. We also have a few players pitching in Kaenon’s Single Vision prescription products in both Kore and Hard Kore.

From Los Angeles Dodgers Andre Ethier (Beacon G12) and San Francisco Giants Manager Bruce Bochy (Spindle S3 G12) to NY Mets pitcher Duaner Sanchez (Kore C28 M Rx), the list of athletes and managers relying on Kaenon Polarized Sunglasses continues to grow, especially those electing Kaenon Rx in either Single Vision or Freestyle Progressive Lenses.

    Baseball Fever = Kaenon Believer

    BASEBALL

    Kaenon Polarized Baseball Fever

    Kaenon Polarized Baseball Fever

It must be the glasses. Joe Maddon (Lewi, Hard Kore G12), manager of the Tampa Bay Rays and Manager of the Year, wore Kaenon Freestyle Progressive Rx all the way to the World Series. His team lost to the Philadelphia Phillies (Jason Werth; Hard Kore, Gauge), but the playoffs cemented Kaenon’s reputation as the choice for the best players in the game. Look no further than the fact that many of the players on this year’s playoff teams—LA Dodgers, LA Angels, and Boston Red Sox—wear Kaenon Polarized in the field and at bat. Cy Young winners Cliff Lee of the Indians and Tim Lincecum of the Giants round out an All-Star team of Kaenon believers.
