Performance Training – The Kaenon Pros Show Their Moves
Get a sneak peek into the training regimens of some of Kaenon’s top athletes. From surfing, beach volleyball, skiing and biking, these pros challenge themselves and take on diverse training programs to keep fit and at the top of their game. Big Wave Surfer, Jamie Sterling (Calais, Gauge, Klemm) focuses on core exercises to keep his balance, strength and mobility where it needs to be to catch big waves and enjoy those long barrel rides. Olympic Gold Medalist Reid Priddy (Hard Kore, Jetty, Arlo) demonstrates one of the tools he relies on to keep his upper body in top form. Professional Mountain Biker Mark Weir (Kore, Hard Kore, Lewi) goes for endurance with his pump track training.

Reid Priddy – USA Volleyball Player of the Year

KAENON’S REID PRIDDY NAMED USA VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
You may remember him from his heroics in Beijing as he lead the USA Men’s Indoor Team to a historic Olympic Gold Medal, but professional volleyball star and Kaenon Polarized athlete Reid Priddy (Hard Kore G12, Lewi, Jetty) was honored last week as he was named the 2008 USA Volleyball Player of the Year! Along with his Gold Medal winning Team USA that was named Team of the Year by the USOC, as well last week. Also a member of the Russian Indoor Pro League, Reid was also recently named to the Russian Professional Indoor League All-Star Team for the second time in two years! On top of that, Reid will be honored and inducted into the Loyola Marymount College Hall of Fame this week, as he prepares to announce that he’ll be transitioning from the Indoor Olympic Team to the AVP Professional two-man beach game as he sets his sights on London 2012 on the beach next time around. As Keanon’s lead male volleyball player, Reid joins Kaenon’s Tyra Turner (Hard Kore C12, Leila, Zaza) who is Kaenon’s lead woman player on the AVP circuit. Congratulations Reid!
