"A Life Outside" with Joe Naholowa'a
In our eighth episode of “A Life Outside,” we hear from waterman Joe Naholowa'a and his passion for paddling and why Kaenon is his eyewear of choice.
Born and raised in Hawaii Joe Naholowa’a was always on or around the water. He’s an all around traditional Hawaiian waterman who grew up surfing, spearfishing, paddling and canoeing. According to Joe his love for canoe paddling is due to the speed and flow and overall connecting with the water.
His current goal is to perpetuate and grow the sport of canoe paddling and perhaps it could become an Olympic Sport. When not paddling he can be found outdoors training himself and others around his current home of Newport Beach, California.
